Dr. Robert Karas
Robert C. Karas, better known as Rob, grew up in a small rural town outside of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He spent his youth playing sports and spending time outdoors with his brothers. Dr. Karas graduated from Hillsdale College with a double major in German and Finance. After graduating, he volunteered for 18 months teaching English in Thailand for the government school systems. While working as a volunteer, he changed his career choice from business to health-care.
Dr. Karas graduated from medical school at Indiana University in 1998 and then completed a 3 year residency in Family Medicine. After residency, Dr. Karas worked more than 5 years in a busy emergency room where he served as Director of the ER for 3 years. Rob and family moved to Arkansas to be closer to his wife’s family. He has worked in the emergency rooms at Washington Regional in Fayetteville, St. Edward’s in Ft. Smith, and St. Mary’s in Rogers since moving to Arkansas.
Dr. Karas is very excited about bringing “Great, Affordable Healthcare” to Northwest Arkansas.
